The excess of cholesterol
is a big issue in America.
The main reasons are a bad lifestyle and bad daily habits. How to prevent
from a high rate? Mainly by physical exercise and healthy diet.
The consumption of medication to relieve the excess of cholestrol has
been increasing for years now.
But, as any other chemical remedy, this kind of prescription is always
better to avoid... Moreover when you know that high cholesterol rate can
be avoided following a few simple rules without imposing unbearable

Move more and
cholesterol will be low!
The majority of the inhabitants of our country don't practice any
sport....
The car is used to make any distance, even shorter. Why bothering
walking…And save petrol too!
The elevator always is preferred from the stairs, even for changing just to the next floor...
Thus though it takes more time in waiting than making a little physical
and healthy effort.
Changing these little habits can do a lot for your health.

Bad food habits are
enemies of good health.
Junk food is the American national dish, whether it appears in
form of a burger, hotdogs, pizzas, chips and other sweat snacks like
chocolate bars... All these tempting victuals are outrageous sources of
cholesterol: overloaded with salt, sugar, fat and other chemicals, they
are the best enemies to health . Even with cholesterol medication, they
have to be banned from a diet.
If very simple good nutritional habits are followed, high cholesterol rate can
be prevented.It is recommended to follow them as early as possible.

Less dairy products in
general ... and if possible none.Whole milk has to be replaced by low
fat milk, even better by Soya milk.
Eggs are not recommended. their consomption has to be reduced as much as
possible.
Ice cream lovers and cheese amateurs have to try to enjoy these products
punctually.... they will taste even better!

Meat, even more red
meat, can be part of a diet, but with parsimony.
A big myth in our occidental countries says that it is the only
resource in proteins. This statement is false. What about the dry
vegetables such as beans, lentils... and of course Soya.
Many recent studies have shown that consuming whole grains daily is
beneficial, and even might decrease the cholesterol rate (watch out!
Peanuts are not grains! They are a huge source of fat).

Consuming fresh fruits
and vegetables is, obviously, recommended, in a big portion. They are
healthy in any case whether to prevent or lower cholesterol rate.
As young as possible,
starting to take good diet habits and making physical exercise or sport is
the key of a responsible healthy way of life that will avoid taking any
cholesterol medication.
