Our country is well known for providing a wide range of additional health supplements.

But for a few years, even less that a decade, There has been being a boom is this sector.

You can improve your health like "in the old days": ingesting different vitamins and minerals capsules or tablets, made out of plants, organic in preference.

But now, furthermore than this classical way, you can supply your body in proteins, omega 3 and other anti-free-radicals, specific dairy products that regulate your digestion system, immune system, your cholesterol rate, etc...

After the overwhelming presence of diet products, here come the foodstuffs that cure you from any health issues you can have!

Low fat, sugar free and other diet food have been having a great success.
The average consumer jumps on them, because they give good consciousness: why bother taking care now? Eating or drinking these products won't affect my physical condition!

But many health problems have been occurring, and even though many warnings have been regularly sent by medical or consumer associations, people don't listen.

First of all, it has been pointed out that these goods are over consumed. People see them as non-products, as if they were ingesting air. Sure, it is “0%, without, free”...
But like for anything else, excess is bad for your health.

Moreover, no one ask himself about the ingredients that replace the sugar or fat.
Something has to replace them, otherwise it wouldn’t have any substance or taste!
Fat is mainly substituted by water in dairy products…. This is a scam when you observe that they are usually one third more expensive!

But when you look at all the other replacing items, you will have the bad surprise to see that most of them are very prejudicial to health.
Consumer unions repeatedly show medical researches concluding about mostly cancer threats resulting from these elements.
For example, it has been proved for years that aspartame-the false sugar- injures the eye vision in a big way.

We have less time distance to see which effects can these new “medication-food” have on our health.

But I think there is a big difference between the diet products as described above and this new trend of health food.
It seems to me that the effects boasted in advertising are not that realistic.
If the components of the dairy products above mentioned were so active, why doctors don’t prescript them?

About omega 3 and similar health supplements, as natural as they are, they seem to be harmless to health.But it is not the same story when we come to proteins : they’ve been shown as dangerous for a long time.
