weight meanwhile they don’t get the requisite nutrients for their
developing body needs. Large portion sizes, and lack of exercise are also
considered as bad habits.
This unhealthy trend has to
be abandoned and it is the role of the parents to take this in charge.
The right combination of diet
and exercise has to be planned: a healthy diet and regular exercise are the
keys to maintain a healthy weight.
The big concern is more on how to find the aim, justify and motivate the
kids to eat healthier and exercise regularly.
Educational institutions such
as schools can have a helpful role by practicing and teaching healthy
lifestyle rules everyday. It can put changes in order to provide kids with
healthy meals, regular exercise and mall measures such as banning soda and
push to consume fruit drinks.
Daily physical education can
help make kids to be more active physically, and stop from a sedentary
lifestyle they have at home. Healthy and balanced meals have to be prepared
everyday, as snacks should not be available.
Proper fitness equipment has to be available to all students that help in
motivating kids to become more active. Programs to increase physical
education in general will be beneficial for the teens to reach a healthy
weight.
Parents have to be aware that
they have to give the right example to their children. But schools have
their part of responsibility too. In a good environment, teens can achieve
succeeding in a weight loss program.
